Need a laptop?  

If you need a laptop or tablet, complete the on-line, Tech Rental Form as soon as possible. If you do not see what you need, please consider applying for a Cal Poly Cares grant, even if you have previously applied and been denied or received a grant.

If you are registered with the DRC and need assistive technology, contact the DRC at drc@calpoly.edu or at 805-756-1395. 

Wi-Fi Service Options

Several internet service providers are now offering free and low-cost internet service to students without a reliable connection. We strongly encourage you to contact your local internet provider for more information about these programs.

If you are near another California State University (CSU) campus, the WiFi-Eduroam is accessible on all CSUs.

For financial assistance to help cover unexpected expenses, including internet fees, related to the disruption of campus operations from COVID-19, please apply for a grant through the Cal Poly Cares program. This includes students who are not federal Title IV eligible such as international and undocumented students. 

ITS Service Desk 

The ITS Service desk will provide support for VPN and Duo troubleshooting for students as well as a wide range of other services for students. Additional services can be found on its website.
